Most of us take Asus Transformer Prime as the First Android 4.0 ( Ice Cream Sandwich ) tablet. However, Peking Ingenic together with the MIPS has launched first official pre-loaded Android 4.0 tablet: Ainol NOVO7. Though it’s not a full new product, has been saled with Honeycomb system previously, now will be listed by equipping with ICS system.
The NOVO7 has a 7-inch capacitive screen with multi-touch input. It is powered by a single-core 1GHz MIPS32 compatible XBurst CPU designed by Ingenic and integrated to the JZ4770 SoC.
Meanwhile, it has 4GB in memory, a microSD slot, two cameras with one capable of 1080p video recording, 3D graphics with the Vivante GC860 GPU, Wi-Fi, HDMI port and USB port.
It is remarkable that it’s priced for $99. Oh, my god, except the big discount of HP Touchpad, this tablet is the cheapest i’ve seen. Asus Transformer Prime is coming soon, this tablet maybe a great competitor to Prime. As you see, from a functional point of view, it almost has all the functions that the prime have. Really worth a try.
