It’s really a problem. How to deal with the mkvs for playing on Iconia Tab A500? i once downloaded many android players for MKV playback. Step 1. Download the mkv to Iconia Tab A500 converter. add your mkv file. ( videos such as avi, wmv, vob, tod, mts, m2ts, flv etc also works well )
Step 2. Choose the video format for Iconia Tab A500. Here i use ” Format < Android < Motorola Droid (x) H.264 Video (*.mp4)“. Set size as 1280×800 to fit its screen resolution or 1280×720 in 720p HD. Set video bitrate as 1500 kbps, audio bitrate as 160000 bps and frame rate as 30 fps.
Step 3. Click “convert”. now, you need to do is just to wait.
Step 4. After the conversion finished, transfer the file to your Iconia Tab A500 via USB. First please make sure there is a USB driver on your PC, if you don’t have, please download and install from Acer official website.
