Convert DVDs to mp4 for Playing on PlayBook

There are a lot of movies stored on DVD discs. It’s really a wonderful enjoyment to watch DVD movies on HDTV via a DVD Player. But we don’t always stay at home. Sometimes, we prefer to stay at a beautiful park or maybe you have a long boring travel. At this time, watch movies is just a great thing to kill time.  

Since PlayBook now supports 1080p video playback we can enjoy DVD movies on PlayBook anywhere anytime with the Home Theater effect. But the powerful portable device can’t play discs. What should we do?

In this case, we must rip DVD discs to PlayBook supported format, Here i will take the mp4 as a example, because mp4 is a common format, not only playbook supported, but such as Apple iPad 2, Motorola Xoom, Nook color, Samsung galaxy tab etc, also can played well.  A tip you should to know is different device with a different playback quality. This just based on its resolution or its power.

Step 1. Free download DVD to mp4 converter. install and run it.

Step 2. Add you DVD discs, if you have DVD ISO/IFO files, it also works well.

Step 3. Choose the best format for PlayBook

Click on “Format” drop-down list, you could easily choose PlayBook supported video format from “BlackBerry” or “HD Video” category. Generally, if you want to get the best video quality on your BlackBerry PlayBook, the video format ” HD Video > H.264 HD Video(*.mp4)  ” is recommended here.

Tips:  click on “Settings” to adjust Size (pix) as 854×480 resolution ( For full HD screen playback on BB-PlayBook ).

Step 4. Click on the ” convert ” button. With its CUDA technology, you will get the mp4 file in a short time.
