Recently, Rightware Power Board announced the benchmark test result of a device named “Google Asus Nexus 7“, according to the test result, this device use NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad-Core processor, Clocked at 1.3GHz, equipped with 1280*768 resolution display. We have reason to believe that the device is Google Nexus 7 inch tablet, and the tablet is the OEM from ASUS.
According to media reports, the Nexus 7, code-named “Grouper“, will likely run Android 4.1 system. Prior to the speculation think that Google Nexus tablet PC will be equipped with Android 5.0 system. The price of it may be less than $200.
Recent news suggests that Android 5.0 Jelly Bean will launch this fall with five Nexus devices, instead of just one. Partnering with Asus seems a strange move to us considering Google recently completed its acquisition of smartphone and tablet maker Motorola Mobility.
A more gradual update to 4.1 seems likely for Google I/O in June, where the Nexus Tablet – or indeed, the Nexus 7 – is presumed to be revealed. Until this moment, all our questions will be answered. If it’s true, it will be a Strong competitor for the cheapest tablets and LCD e-readers.
