It is the first PlayStation Certified device. For game fans, it’s really a good choice. With this mazing smartphone, watching movies also seems cool.
As we all know, most portable devices can’t play discs. Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is just one of them. Maybe you have a large collection of DVD discs. So play movies on Xperia Play will be a good enjoyment. But, in the first place, we should rip and convert DVD discs to Sony Ericsson Xperia Play supported formats. Here i use Foxreal DVD Ripper, it’s a professional DVD tool. Below is the step-by-step guide:
Step 1. Free download the DVD to Xperia Play converter. install and run it. Then add your DVD file. DVD disc or ISO/IFO files all will be OK.
Step 2. Choose the suitable format for Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. i recommend you “Format < Android < Motorola Droid (x) H.264 Video (*.mp4)”.
Step 3. Click on “Settings” to set the Size (pix) as 1280×720 ( Play 720P movies on your Xperia Play in full screen with High Quality ). Or, you can set its video resolution as 854×480 if you need, it also can full screen.
Tips: Click on the “save” to finish the settings. Or you can also click “save as” to rename (such as Sony Ericsson Xperia Play H.264 Video *.mp4) the profile for next use in Custom category of “Format”.
Step 4. Click the ” convert” to start the process.
After a short time, you will get the converted file. Then transfer it to XP. Now you can watch movies on Xperia Play as ease. Have fun!
