Convert Blu-ray HD movies for Apple TV

Apple TV is really amazing for us to transfer our photos, videos, music to our HDTV. But not all videos are compatibled by Apple TV, below is a detail list about apple tv supported formats. Just have a look:

The Apple TV compatible video & audio formats
Video Audio
*H.264 up to 720p at 30 frames per second
*MPEG-4 up to 720X432(432p) or 640X480 pixels at 30 fps
*Motion JPEG up to 720p at 30 fps		 HE-AAC(V1), AAC(16-320 kbit/s),
FairPlay protected AAC, MP3 (16-320 kbit/s, with VBR),
Apple Lossless, AIFF, WAV

 As you see, the common movies that stored on bluray or DVD discs can’t be read by the apple tv. So if we want to watch HD movies on our tv set, we must rip and convert the discs. Then we just need a blu-ray tool. As a noob, i prefer easier tool. Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper is just one of them. Its interface is very clear, anyone can manage it.

Transfer DVD movies to iTunes for iPad, iPhone, iPod, Apple TV playback

iTunes is just a bridge between apple family and personal entertainment. It gives us movies, games and a large number of apps. We also must use it to transfer movies and music etc. Most devices of apple family supported the same formats. So if we convert movies to iTunes, the most apple devices can play too. Today i will share you my own solution to rip DVD discs to iTunes.

At first, we just need a tool,  Pavtube DVD Ripper is just one of them. Based on its CUDA technology, we will get the converted file in a shorter time. It can help you to convert DVD discs, DVD IFO or ISO files. And supports a wide range of output formats including the perfect compatible formats for Apple. Below is the detailed steps:

Step 1. Download the powerful DVD to iTunes converter ( For mac user ). Install and run. Then add you DVD file.

Step 2. Select pleasant format for iTunes.

You can choose mp4, mov, m4v etc. Here i recommend you ” h.264 mp4″, this format works well on my apple devices and has a litter size. Please click “format”, just choose ”common video”, you will see the “H.264 video *.mp4″.

Step 3. Click on the “convert” button. Now we just need to wait.

After the process finished, just drag it to iTunes. Then transfer the movies to any apple device you like. Is it really simple? Try to rip DVD movies to iTunes by yourself.
